Advanced Financial Solutions CEO quietly negotiated Oklahoma City firm's sale.

Nov. 11--As Gary Nelson negotiated the sale of Oklahoma City based Advanced Financial Solutions to Metavante Corp. of Milwaukee earlier this year, he played the quiet game.
Nelson revealed nothing of the ongoing talks to anyone other than his two partners in the company.
"You don't want it on the street that you are shopping the company," the Advanced Financial Solutions' chief executive officer told an Oklahoma Venture Forum audience Wednesday. "You can't articulate it."
The reactions of the company's 340 employees and 7,500 institutional customers were foremost among his concerns.
So the three shareholders in the 12-year-old company developed...
