T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods store to debut in Indianapolis market in 2005.

Nov. 12--TJX, parent company of stores such as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and A.J. Wright, will open a T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods combination store in the Indianapolis market next year.
The first such combo store in the nation is opening Friday in St. Peters, Mo., a St. Louis suburb.
"It's a new test prototype," said Robyn Arvedon, HomeGoods spokeswoman. "We are always looking for new markets with new construction, dense population and shoppers with an appetite for new home fashions."
T.J. Maxx is an off-price apparel retailer, and HomeGoods sells home fashion goods and accessories, also at off-price.
