Peoria, Ill.-area economy remains stable, report reveals.

Nov. 16--PEORIA, Ill. -- The Peoria area economy remained stable in the third quarter of 2004, leaving it slightly above levels seen a year ago, said a quarterly report from Bradley University.
"Overall, the picture was stability, some indexes went up, some went down," said Bernard Goitein, director of business and economic research at Bradley. "We were basically on line where we were in the previous quarter and slightly above where we were in 2003." The report is compiled for the Journal Star by the Center for Business and Economic Research at Bradley's Foster College of Business Administration.
