Official details benefits of trade with Hong Kong to Virginia port authority.

Nov. 17--NORFOLK, Va. -- The director of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in New York, Sarah Wu, visited Hampton Roads on Tuesday to extol the benefits of trading with Hong Kong.
Wu made presentations to the Virginia Port Authority and the Virginia Asian American Advisory Board, a state agency appointed in 2003 by Gov. Mark Warner to advise the state on ways to improve economic and cultural links with Asian nations.
"We want to help business people to make the best use of the opportunities available," Wu said. "Hong Kong is a gateway for doing business with China."
