Nov. 17--MADISON, Wis. -- It takes more than high-tech ideas to find success in a high-tech business venture.
"You need the right people with the right experience, especially early on, to avoid what I would call unforced errors," said Eric Apfelbach, president and CEO of Virent Energy Systems, a Madison-based high-tech firm.
Apfelbach was one of three entrepreneurs who talked about the importance of securing business leadership for early-stage science and tech-based companies at a forum Tuesday. The event was last in a series of forums called "Building the New Wisconsin Economy."
