Executive leaves Boulder, Colo.-based telecommunications equipment firm.

Nov. 19--Carrier Access Corp., a Boulder-based telecommunications equipment maker, revealed Thursday its chief financial officer resigned to pursue an opportunity with another Colorado company.

Timothy Anderson stepped down after serving as the company's CFO for about four years.

Anderson commuted more than two hours a day and wanted to work closer to his home, said Nancy Pierce, the company's co-founder and corporate development officer.

"I'm personally disappointed that Tim's leaving," Pierce said, adding he left on good terms. "He's a great guy."

She declined to say which company he plans to join, although an announcement is likely...
