Virgin Mobile in Britain to pay dividend.

Nov. 19--Newly-floated Virgin Mobile is to pay a dividend this year but it warned that second-half profit margins would not match the first.
Analysts expect Virgin to pay 4 pence at the end of the year. It is aiming to hand out 40 percent of profits per year.
Chief executive Tom Alexander said the company was winning lowspending customers from bigger operators.
Virgin has lower costs because it rents airtime from rival T-Mobile. It added 360,000 customers in the last three months and this year will "get close" to the 540,000 customers it added last Christmas.
