Yamaha's latest self-playing piano uses wireless computing technology.

Nov. 19--The piano plays itself, what more could you want?

On Thursday, Yamaha Corp. of America unveiled more: A player piano controlled via Wi-Fi.

The Buena Park musical instrument company went all out with its latest contribution to the high-tech music world. The Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV grand piano has a detachable touch-screen monitor that wirelessly controls the piano's built-in computer. Now, owners can sit on the sofa to choose a song for the grand piano (and all its acoustical elegance) to play u the latest creative use for the trendy wireless technology of Wi-Fi.
