Nov. 23--Two directors from Chalone Wine Group (Nasdaq: CHLN) resigned Monday in an effort to maintain the company's common shares listing on Nasdaq.
Yves-Andre Istel and George E. Myers resigned in response to a Nasdaq letter citing Chalone's non-compliance with a rule that the majority of the company's board of directors be independent from operations.
Their resignations should keep Chalone in compliance with Nasdaq's rules, said a company statement, but that's a decision for Nasdaq to make.
