Washington state tourism agency offers plan to hook visitors.

Dec. 9--Washington is ready to develop new partnerships around the state to increase tourism.
"We are very ready and prepared to support tourism," Juli Wilkerson told 250 people attending a tourism industry meeting in Tacoma on Wednesday.
Wilkerson, the former economic development director for Tacoma, is director of the state Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development.
Wilkerson said her agency would work to create links among trade, business development and tourism workers within her office and in the state.
The effort, she said, will develop a "comprehensive umbrella marketing plan" that will focus on tourism, business...
