Dec. 10--SELF-PROCLAIMED Aussiephile Sir Richard Branson has not had the fawning reception from the Press down under that he might have expected after his Virgin Atlantic carrier touched down in Sydney for the first time, promising to slash fares on flights to London and Hong Kong. Oz reporters instead decided to slay Sir Dick, as they call him, for the falling share price of Virgin Blue, his budget domestic Australian airline.
