University to develop 5-story loft complex, parking lot in Columbus, Ga.

Dec. 13--Columbus State University plans to develop a 5-story loft apartment complex along 10th Street from Broadway to Front Avenue and a parking lot on Front Avenue.
The school is partnering with W.C. Bradley Company's Real Estate Division, which owns the three buildings at the corner of Front and 10th Street, for the loft project, and with the city for the parking facilities.
Specifics about the plans are expected to be completed in the next two months, said John Lester, CSU spokesman. The building would be built on the site of the parking lot adjacent to 1007 Broadway and extend to the current building at 1010 Front Street.
