High-tech promotion group offers creativity reward in Peoria, Ill.

Dec. 14--PEORIA -- Creativity will soon be rewarded in Peoria.
That reward is $10,000, the award for the first Peoria Prize for Creativity offered by Peoria NEXT at next year's Discovery Forum at the Peoria Civic Center April 29.
Peoria NEXT is the regional collaborative organization seeking to establish Peoria as a high-tech center.
"If we knew exactly what we were looking for, we wouldn't need a prize," said Jeffrey Huberman, dean of Bradley University's Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts.
