Florida Senate leader says state may deny hurricane cash.

Dec. 14--TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- With the proposal's price tag steadily climbing, Senate President Tom Lee said Monday that lawmakers might not steer money to Floridians who paid more than one insurance deductible during this year's record hurricane season.
The House and Senate this week are working on separate approaches to reimburse owners of homes damaged by two or more hurricanes and who carried insurance that required they pay a deductible on damage from each.
On the opening day of a five-day special session, Lee stunned fellow lawmakers and industry officials by saying the bailout may have to wait or not be done at all.
