Dec. 15--STANLEY BUYS ISR SOLUTIONS: Stanley Works, owner of the Stanley Bostitch plant in East Greenwich, has acquired Washington-based ISR Solutions for $34 million in cash to increase sales to the U.S. government with a wider range of security-system services. Government contracts accounted for half of ISR's $40 million in revenue in 2004. Other ISR clients include Bank of New York Co. and Dell Inc. The acquisition complements recently announced plans to purchase Security Group Inc., adding medium- and high-security products and software for the U.S. Homeland Security Deptartment and other government agencies.
