Unilever program in Bridgeport, Conn., area 'unique'.

Dec. 16--TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Local Unilever employees donated more than 300 presents for Bridgeport children and their families, then Wednesday got to watch as 75 excited students -- and an Olympic gold medalist -- took over their cafeteria, a conference room and even a couple of hallways.
The gifts, for students at Wilbur Cross Elementary School in Bridgeport, are part of a three-year collaboration on the "uniquely ME!" program between Unilever and the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
"Unilever employees donate all the gifts to create a marketplace for the children to go shop in," said Unilever spokeswoman Diane Fulco.
