Jan. 9--TSUNAMI SPURS GIVING: The Southern Asian tsunami, estimated to have killed more than 147,000 people, has spurred U.S. corporations to pledge millions in aid as the international business community tries to help the survivors of the natural disaster. Pfizer Inc. alone is donating $10 million in cash and $25 million worth of drugs to relief agencies.

Smaller businesses can't rack up those kinds of numbers, but the relief effort is spurring companies of all sizes to do what they can and to make it easier for individuals to contribute. Here are some examples of local efforts:
