What they all need is a cheap, easy way to purify water. Lance Cutsforth, president and CEO of Garden City-based Clear Solutions International says his company can provide just that.

Its Biological Disinfection System, just emerging from development into a marketable form, does the job of chlorine without the chemicals. It destroys viruses and bacteria without finicky filters that need to be changed, the company says. A companion technology removes suspended solids from water, also without chemicals, and with a filter that cleans itself.
