National Center Praises FCC For Adopting New 'Child Abduction Emergency' Code To Emergency Alert System

WASHINGTON, March 18 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is calling the Federal Communications Commission's latest ruling to adopt a new Child Abduction Emergency Code "A giant step forward to saving children's lives." The new code will be used within the Emergency Alert System to activate the AMBER Plan - America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response.
