Energy Department to Retain Renewable Energy Lab Contractor; Senior Energy Department Officials to Attend Signing Ceremony

Deputy Secretary of Energy Kyle McSlarrow and Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy David Garman will visit the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colo., April 13 for a contract-signing ceremony. The Energy Department will exercise the option for the remaining four years of the management and operating contract with Midwest Research Institute of Kansas City, Mo., in partnership with Battelle Memorial Institute of Columbus, Ohio.
