Labor Department Achieves Highest Rating for Strategic Management of Human Capital

WASHINGTON, May 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recently achieved the highest rating for the Strategic Management of Human Capital component of the President's Management Agenda. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) raised the Department's status to the top rating of "green" for DOL's accomplishments in the strategic management of human capital in its most recent quarterly scorecard.
"The Department of Labor has been recognized as a leader in the implementation of the President's Management Agenda by planning strategically for the agency's future workforce," said Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao. "This planning is critical if we are to continue serving America's workforce and employers effectively in the 21st century."
