Personal Injury Lawyer Admits Filing Merit-less Malpractice Lawsuit; Pennsylvania Group Says Lawsuit Abuse Reforms Must Move Forward

HARRISBURG, Pa., June 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- A personal injury lawyer, who in 1999 filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Dr. Charles Dunton, a gynecological oncologist from Delaware County, has admitted the claim had no basis.
Upon being sued by Dr. Dunton, Diane Rice, Esq., of Bucks County admitted her wrong-doing and opted to settle out of court for an undisclosed sum of money.
