Homeownership Alliance, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Release Emergency Preparedness Guide for Homeowners

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 /U.S. Newswire/ -- U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge and Homeownership Alliance President Rick Davis announced today that a comprehensive Emergency Preparedness Guide will be distributed to new homeowners, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Homeownership Alliance and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Homeownership Alliance, with charter members including the National Association of Realtors(r), the Independent Community Bankers of America, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the National Association of Home Builders, produced the guide as a result of its partnership with DHS' Ready campaign, an effort to encourage individual emergency preparedness.
