Death Tax Gone in '06, Group Predicts; President, VP, Majority Leader All Call For Repeal of Unfair, Unpopular, Un-American Tax

WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 /U.S. Newswire/ -- President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Senate Majority Leader Frist each have called for repeal of the death tax in recent days, sending a clear signal to the nation that 2006 may very well be the year when American families finally are cut free from this unfair and burdensome tax, the American Family Business Institute (AFBI) today said.
Permanent death tax repeal, scheduled for a Senate vote in September 2005, was postponed so that Congress could focus on Katrina disaster relief.
