U.S. Newswire, March, 2006
WASHINGTON, March 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Social Security crisis will not go away and solve itself. Sens. DeMint and Crapo understand this and are taking action now to avert the coming fiscal storm of retiring baby boomers and Social Security insolvency. These Senators have proposed an amendment, S Con Res 83, to the budget resolution to stop spending Social Security surpluses on other government programs.
