OSHA Promotes Workplace Safety in New Public Service Announcements; Features Former Red Bulls Soccer Star Giovanni Savarese

WASHINGTON, July 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) today announced new radio and television public service announcements (PSAs) urging employees to work safe. The PSAs, to be unveiled tomorrow, feature former New York Red Bulls soccer star Giovanni Savarese.
The 30-second and 15-second television PSAs in English and Spanish feature Venezuelan-native Savarese, the all-time leading scorer for Major League Soccer's Red Bulls. The PSA provides information on how to contact OSHA about issues related to workplace safety and health through its Web site and a toll-free number.
