WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has continued to reach out to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in an attempt to address FTC concerns regarding the treatment of exclusive agency listings.
"NAR has reached out to the FTC on two separate occasions in an attempt to get the agency to work with us to craft an industrywide solution to FTC concerns over the MLSs' (Multiple Listing Services) treatment of exclusive agency listings," said Laurie Janik, NAR general counsel. "We understand that the FTC is now looking at the possibility of taking NAR up on its offer to address this issue," said Janik.
