Americans Doubt Safety of Nation's Food Supply in Wake of Pet-Food Contamination

NEW YORK, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 7 in 10 Americans (68 percent) agree that the recent contamination of pet food with rat poison shows how vulnerable the U.S. is to an attack on its food supply, while only 12 percent disagree, according to a survey released today from JWT.
The random and representative survey of 1,172 Americans 18 or older was conducted the week ending March 31 to gauge Americans' perception of the safety of the nation's food supply in the wake of the recent pet-food contamination. ...
