Companies join Google, Lenovo, and Sun Microsystems in supporting badware initiative
CAMBRIDGE, Ma., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- StopBadware.org, the consumer protection initiative developed to combat badware, today announced that PayPal and VeriSign have signed on as two of StopBadware.orgs growing list of supporting organizations. The two companies join Google, Lenovo, and Sun Microsystems in the initiative led by Harvard Law School's Berkman Center for Internet & Society and Oxford University's Oxford Internet Institute.
