ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of the 2007 USO World Gala celebration, the USO and the Washington Nationals hosted a special evening honoring America's troops at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium Sept. 19. USO gala service heroes threw out the first pitch, met club players and participated in batting practice. More than 10,000 spectators joined in a special salute to the men and women of the U.S. armed forces.
