Overall conditions in the manufacturing sector deteriorated slightly in December, according to firms responding to this months Business Outlook Survey. While the general activity index fell notably this month, firms continued to report growth in new orders and shipments. A significant share of the firms is still reporting a rise in prices for inputs and for their own manufactured goods.
