Winstead Announces Winners of the 2008 Scholarships Targeting Diverse Candidates

DALLAS, March 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Texas law firm Winstead PC selected the three winners of the Winstead Juris Doctor Scholarship program targeting first-year, top minority candidates. They are Aida Wondwessen, a student at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law; Sameer Saxena, a student from the University of Houston Law Center; and Suparna Salil, a student from the University of Texas School of Law. Each of the Winstead scholarship recipients will receive a one-time grant of up to $20,000 and a position in the 2009 Winstead Summer Associate Program.
