MINNEAPOLIS, May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARCI) today reported operating results for the first quarter ended April 4, 2009.
Total revenues for the first quarter of 2009 increased 1.8% to $26.2 million from $25.7 million in the first quarter of 2008. ARCA reported a first quarter 2009 operating loss of $1.7 million compared to operating income of $0.6 million during the same period of 2008.
