PA Lottery Ticket Sales to Close Four Hours Early on June 15 to Allow for System Conversion

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., June 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Monday, June 15, Pennsylvania Lottery ticket saleswill close at 8 p.m. -- four hours earlier than normal -- to allow for a computer system conversion. Sales will resume Tuesday morning, June 16.
"For the past several months, the Lottery has been replacing the 10-year-old terminals at Lottery retailers across the state with new terminals," said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees. "The final phase of the conversion involves upgrading the back- office computer system. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience this software conversion may cause."
