Reuters extends order management capabilities.

Reuters, the information and technology group, has teamed up with Stockholm-based Orc Software, to provide exchange connectivity and order management capabilities through Reuters 3000Xtra terminals, which offer cross-asset information and analytics. Nils Nilsson, chief executive of Orc Software, said the deal would give the Swedish real time trading and risk management applications developer access to Reuters' distribution network and information. "Orc is a small company and to build a distribution network itself would be too costly," he said.
