ING Group is to standardise its global credit risk management processes and measurement methodologies with the Credient risk management solution from SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, a subsidiary of SunGard, the global integration solutions company.Credient will be delivered via an application service provider (ASP) framework, whereby SunGard will host Credient for ING in European SunGard Availability Services data centres.ING Financial Markets will use Credient to manage and control the counterparty, settlement, country and issuer risks associated with its financial markets activities, and to reduce its portfolio risk through collateralisation, netting and diversification.
