Rory Macnamara, a well-known former deputy chairman of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, has taken on a non-executive directorship at Madsen Gornall Ashe, a media consultancy.The corporate financier, who left Lehman Brothers in July last year, said he was not looking for full-time employment, but might take on more non-executive roles. Macnamara worked on a string of high-profile deals, including the sale of Metropole Hotels by Lonrho, the African mining company now known as Lonmin; brewer Scottish & Newcastle's acquisition of Courage and the flotation of Eurotunnel, the company that runs the tunnel under the English Channel.He quit Lehman just two years after he had moved to the US bank as head of a team of 10 investment bankers from Deutsche...
