Which investment bank is heading for its second best year ever in 2002, at a time when equity markets seem to be hurtling towards the precipice and the mood in the industry has rarely been gloomier?The answer: UBS Warburg. Of course, all bets could be off if there were a cataclysmic collapse in equity markets, but I can't see that happening.
