Fidelity Capital Markets, the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments, has extended its electronic trading network by signing up to RadianzNet, the global financial extranet operated by Radianz, the Reuters and Equant joint venture.The use of RadianzNet will enable Fidelity to offer FIX-based connectivity and electronic trading services to its institutional clients worldwide. The FIX protocol enables different trading systems to communicate with each other.
Radianz offers peer-to-peer FIX services through its rFIX product line. It also offers access to a range of FIX services directly from providers including FIX messaging hubs, FIX ASP services and FIX testing, certification and translation.
