GL Trade, the trading software firm owned by Euronext, is to provide live news from AFX, the newswire owned by Agence France Presse, on its trading stations.The news service will be available to the 30,000 traders who use GL Win, the trading station. They use the service to access financial data and to place orders on more than 60 cash equities and derivatives exchanges around the world.
They will be able to personalise the news feeds, which include AFX Europe, covering news from the Eurozone as well as additional news from the US and Latin America; AFX Asia Pac, which covers Asia; and regional news services in local languages for the UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland and Spain.
