Brewin Dolphin Securities, the UK portfolio manager and stockbroker, has lured David Merrifield and Raf Saidi from Atlantic Trust, a subsidiary of Invesco.The two have worked together at Brewin Dolphin for seven years. Both will be managing private client portfolios in their new positions.

IFunds and Raymond James launch active ETF strategy

IFunds has teamed up with Raymond James Investment Services, the European arm of US-based Raymond James Financial, to launch a range of actively managed portfolios using exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The strategy is based on actively trading these baskets of shares to enhance returns and is designed around data provided by Barclays Global Investors.
