Citigroup Asset Management (CAM), the fund management subsidiary of the US bank, has hired Steven Bleiberg from Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) to become head of global investment strategy.Bleiberg will spearhead the asset management division's efforts in multi-asset-class products across all the firm's client bases. He will oversee a number of asset allocation products, including its CitiSelect funds, the Smith Barney Allocation series, and the asset allocation function for CAM's college savings plans.
In addition, he will have primary responsibility for marketing CAM's asset allocation products, particularly the firm's private banking clients.
