BNP Paribas hires Rohner to head German credit sales.

BNP Paribas has strengthened its German fixed income franchise with the hire of Ruediger Rohner as head of credit sales in the region.Rohner will join the French bank's office in Frankfurt from Deka Investment, the fund management subsidiary of Dekabank, the German banking group. Ruediger has worked as deputy head of credit and head of cyclical credits at Deka Investment since 2001. He will leave on Friday.

Before joining Deka Investment in 1999, Ruediger worked at Dresdner Bank for eight years in a variety of roles including fixed income trading and derivatives.

At BNP Paribas, Rohner will report to Jan Stahmer, head of fixed income sales for Germany, Austria and the central European region.
