Investcorp buys Swedish bed manufacturer.

Investcorp, the private equity group has bought Hilding Anders, the Swedish bed manufacturer, an initial public offering candidate in a dormant Swedish IPO market.The last Swedish IPO was in May 2002 when Alfa Laval, a heating manufacturer raised Skr5.6bn ([euro]624m). Enskilda Securities and Merrill Lynch have just launched the IPO of Dometic, the speciality refrigerator manufacturer, which aims to raise Skr3.8bn.

Nordic Capital, the Swedish private equity firm owned 32% of Hilding Anders, which it acquired in 1999 after the bed manufacturer merged with APAX Intressenter another bed manufacturer in which Nordic Capital had invested.
