Watson Wyatt, the pension consultants, has appointed Jens Witts to run the Munich office it established last year as an insurance and financial consulting practice.Witts, who has over 30 years' experience, joins Watson as a managing consultant from Aon Jauch & Hubener Consulting, where he was a senior manager.
Global investment practices have been boosting their exposure to Germany amid signs that companies are seeking external advice on the pension funds.
Last year Mercer Investment Consulting, another pension consultant, set up its first investment practice in Germany after poaching two consultants from rivals Towers Perrin.
