IBM introduces powerful midrange Unix servers, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 05-23-2000 CAPITALISING on the success of its copper-fueled RS/6000 S80 - the industry's first Unix server powered by copper chips - IBM introduced last week a powerful new line of midrange Unix servers. Offering the same breakthrough copper microprocessor technology as the popular high-end S80, the new RS/6000 midrange models - M80 8-way Web server, H80 6-way Web server, and F80 6-way server for e-business transaction processing - are bolstered by mainframe-class reliability and serviceability features.
