Motorola establishes multimedia-based Chair of Knowledge Management, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 06-06-2000 MOTOROLA has decided to sponsor the nation's first multimedia-based Chair of Knowledge Management in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia at the Multimedia University (MMU). The sponsorship will last three years and is worth some RM1.5 million. Both MMU and Motorola will jointly identify the person for the Chair. According to Dr.
Ahmad Rafi Mohammed Eshaq, dean of the faculty, three candidates have been identified and all are currently based in the UK and the US. He expects the position to be filled before the end of this year.
