Two dotcoms join IBM's e-incubator programme, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 04-12-2001 IBM has identified two e-business start-ups for its e-incubator programme. At present, the company has two under its wing. IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Voon Seng Chuan said the two new ones are in the logistics and pharmaceutical sectors.
"Further details will be disclosed in two to three months' time. We will nurture and mould them into stronger entities and benefit e-business in the country," he said at the launch of IBM's second e-fair in Kuala Lumpur. The IBM e-incubator programme is a partnership with Nomura/Jafco (Asia) Ltd which has allotted some US$3 million (US$1 = RM3.80) for the programme.
