KL may agree with items in WTO draft, BUSINESS TIMES

Business Times (Malaysia) 11-02-2001 MALAYSIA may agree with many items in the draft of the ministerial declaration for next week's meeting of World Trade Organization (WTO) trade ministers in Doha, Qatar. International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said the Government has studied and analyzed each of the issue contained in the draft.

"There are many items which we can agree on, which meet our needs. "(But) there are two or three isues which have to be continuously discussed at Doha," she told reporters after launching the ministry's Quality Week in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
