Business Times (Malaysia) 07-17-2002 IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd is confident that its newly launched UNIX server, eServer p630, will be well received by small- and medium-scale industries (SMIs) due to its advanced reliability and performance features. eServer pSeries country manager Chiam Yat Seng said IBM is targeting the servers at SMIs across a wide range of industries.
Priced from RM97,000, this new entry-level system would be the ideal "information technology backbone" for Malaysian companies in the manufacturing, distribution, financial services, retail, transportation and industrial sectors.
